Torque3d Feedback Thread

Hi Guys,

Please post about your experiences with the new Torque3d beta download for those of us who have not paid for it. Do you find that it is worth the cost? Are you satisfied with the features and current product state? Did you encounter any bugs or glitches?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Some of your questions are contrary to the definition of beta. It would be unfair to a beta product, and premature to answer them without severally misrepresenting T3D.

My opinion of T3D is very high, it is much more then the features what have already been exhibited. The improved mission editor is quite nice with many great, useful features what greatly improve design flow. Some of the changes to the environment objects, like sun/sky, water blocks and terrain are absolutely brilliant. Of course graphically the eye candy practically drip off the screen. And the Torque Tool Box is actually very useful, what i found to be quite surprising, as from its early description it did not appeal to me(I find i leave it running all the time, even when not doing any Torque work).
