Skinning or physic ? Animation not shown :/

Hi all,
i'm with a great problem for days now : sequences do not move the dts vertex in the show tool (the model is not shown at all in the game)
I have all the basics :
- a character
- a bounds
- a biped
The exportation of the model works great in the show tool.
My model is attached to the biped with a PHYSIC modifier ; i don't know if it is a problem or not, but everyone's talking about skin so i wonder...
When i make a sequence (and just export the sequence), i have a normal file size for the sequence (1-6 ko). The model MOVES in the view, like it should do, but it stays in "Jesus" position, the model vertex are not animated at all :/
NB : when create a sequence and allow the record of the position of all the vertex of each frame and then export the whole shape, the animation is displaying in the showtool. But that's not what i want, 'cause the file size is too big and not adapted for multiple animations.
So, i tried with a skin. Finally. But now i have an error on exportation : "Assert of .... failed" .........
What should i do ? Why can't i simply use physic modifier ?

Thomas, you are indeed correct, Physique is only supported if you export your character and animations as "morphs", which you probably do not want. To save you some time converting your character over to Skin you should try out the Physique/Skin translator program that Discreet has written, it will convert from Physique to Skin or Skin to Physique with some very good results.Logan

But.... i have another problem now : torque crashes when i want to see the player in 3rd view :/
My player has no collision, and goes under the floor and moves like craps and i can't see the player meshe...
PS: i do not use any multires nor collision now.
EDIT : ok i saw some problems with visibility in the forum. I'm gonna download the files with the dtsexport documentation to make a clean model with lods etc.
cya !

I do not have R5 with me here at work so I cannot check out your file, but I am going to assume that you have thoroughly read and understand how to work with the DTS Exporter? Did you read this thread about the DTS Exporter in R5 and the Multires modifier?Logan
