CVS locked?

I attempted to do an update from the Realmwars CVS today and got the following message:

"cvs server: [15:29:12] waiting for cvs's lock in /cvs/realmwars/realmwars/example"

What causes this?

This was using TortoiseCVS, don't have WinCVS on this machine.

I was getting the same thing last night at around the same time. I just tried now and am getting it again. Will look into it.

I'm still having the same problem. I tried several times throughout the past 24 hours with no change. Any luck at finding the culprit?

Yes, the problem is still there, I will look at it tonight and send mail to everyone with CVS commit access to figure out if someone has a half-finished commit or something. I didn't have time to mess with it yesterday.

In the meantime you can get all the CVS files if you get all the folders except for the "example" folder, then get all the folders underneath the "example" folder. The problem is with the example folder itself, not sure why it is happening.
