Anybody has experience with extended use of fxLights for interiors?
This is major information I need for my project to continue.

Not trying be rude but you also might try using the mapping section. You might find more rescources for imformation in there due to the fact that people in there regularly map.

So I need something what would light the scene globally (walls by hammer and objects by MAX).
I want to use fxLights so I wanted to know if it is suitable for such a task. There would be many lights in a scene so, yes, I wonder if there won't be big fps drops.

to Jim => well, I create buildings in Hammer and objects (like furniture etc.) in MAX (as DTS objects). The problem is that interior lights (e.g. in Hammer) don't affect DTS objects. So I need something what would light the scene globally (walls by hammer and objects by MAX).

The lights made in in an interior editor (ie Quark and Hammer) are not really lights. They just make lightmaps that give the appearance that lighting is in the room.
That is somthing we need bad is a static light that effects everything and can be placed in the editor.
Sorry

Dynamic lighting (FXlights) are a big frame hit. If you make them large enough to light your your interior up you will definatly lose frame rates. Normally if I use them at all I keep them to a minumum. Only enough to make the lens flare. I think on average I keep the size around .05. They still drop the frame even at that small. The lights made in in an interior editor (ie Quark and Hammer) are not really lights.
