Invalid page fault when trying to play the third puzzle

I'm getting the following error when trying to play the third puzzle (version 1.2.0.0 of the game):
CHAIN REACTION caused an invalid page fault in
module D3DIM700.DLL at 0167:56675749.

I also get a similar error when the intro runs. I've tried the game in full screen mode, but it just drops me back to the desktop when trying to play this puzzle (not showing the intro via the ini file fixes this issue as discussed by others in the forum, but not this problem with the third puzzle).
I'm using a GeForce 256 graphics card with NVidia's drivers version 41.09 on a Windows 98 SE operating system and a Pentium 3 600Mhz CPU.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I'm enjoying playing the game, even though I've only played the first two puzzles!
Thanks in advance,
Kevin :)

check your mem sticks.

I've tried your suggestion Chris and while I can't play the third puzzle, I've managed to get further into the game with no crashes so far (fingers crossed!).
I'll let you know if any more of the puzzles crash on my machine (assuming I can solve them of course!).
Not too sure if it is the memory - I haven't had any problems with them before...
Thanks again,
Kevin :)

-What versin of DirectX are you running?
-Those drivers from nVidia, while they are the latest, have caused havoc on some games. After I installed them, I had problems with number game and dropped back to the 31 series drivers (much more stable)....just my $.02 worth. If your bored you may want to drop back to the 31.82 (???) series drivers.

I'm running version 8.1 of DirectX. I haven't even considered using an older version of Nvidia's drivers - might be something worth looking into :)Thanks for the suggestion,
Kevin.

As a work around, you can rename the level from whatever.lvg to whatever.lvg.tmp and it will be removed from the game list. This is kind of a cheap way around as you won't have all the levels to play.
I'm curious if you'll hit many more levels that don't run on your machine. If so, definately tell me about it. It would indicate a pattern we haven't seen yet.
Hope this helps.
Chris
