TGB/Torque X Builder/TX2D - huh?

Ok, I've purchased TGB Pro. With this came Torque X Builder.
Now there is something called TX2D. I can upgrade to this for $50. But, I already have access to it through the forums. Is this the same as TXB? A new generation of TorqueX that is no longer directly (freely) tied to TGB?
Count up the threads on naming and license confusion. There needs to be master page explaining this stuff.
