Can we add these fetures in T3d?

Some amazing features of the CryEngine3. Check out the engine. Is it legal to make an editor and everything like that which is based on T3d? Are we allowed to sell it (if we have Commercial license)?

You can make any editor you want for internal use, if you want to sell it you'll need to get permission from GG.

We've been looking at all those engines while in development of T3D.

That said they all charge hundreds of thousands up to to millions for licenses... T3D costs $1000. The funding required to pay the teams to build technology like that is the most limiting factor... that and time.

Unreal Tech has been developed over 12 years, HeroEngine over 8 years, and Crysis has been in development for over 5 years. These things do not spring up over night.

Still i think that Torque 3D will stand up well against the other engines out there when you consider the cost differences.

Yes. Its good to have a flexible engine so that we can skim it down to stuff we do not need. And add more features that we actually do need. Its amazing :) Can't wait to get it!
