Water and DX SDK

I know there were previously issues with the DirectX SDK and certain shaders, like the water ones in some cases.
Are there still issues with any of this? I'm not seeing a shimmer underwater like normal, its shaded darker, as im underwater, but theres no shimmer etc

Yeah, I see the overlay but no shimmer, but I noticed on the AtlasDemo in 1.8.1 SDK that there is still rippling underwater like there use to be, which made me curious as to why its not working otherwise.

Haha.. yeah, we're just now moving up to 1.8.1 so finding little things to complain about (not that theres anybody on these forums to listen lol). I haven't seen any shimmering for as long as I can remember, and I'm using one of the 'safe' SDK versions. The only thing I'm seeing is a dark overlay.
