Can't convert 3ds Max files to DTS

When I try to use the Max2DTS converter, I get a "No bounding box" error. What's causing this?

I guess we misunderstood your question.
Whatever texture you use in the StudioMax materials editor is the same one you have to use in Torque. It has to be sized to a power of 2, for example 256x256, or 512x1024, or 16x128. The texture has to be placed in the same folder as the .dts object for Torque to find it. The usual place for texture and .dts file is in the folder data/shapes
The .dts file has the name of the assigned texture from StudioMax in it (that's part of the exporting process).
So if you use StudioMax to make a box, texture it with a picture named box.jpg (which is 128x128) and export the file as box.dts, you will need to put both box.jpg and box.dts in a folder called boxes in this directory data/shapes/boxes.
Torque should then apply the texture to your box.
