You have an idea, and you know what you want the game to be like. You want someone else to program the entire game for you, and basically create the entire game. You will get the product to sell, even though you don't own any game engine, and you will pay the creator a little bit of cash that you received from the game.
Sorry buddy, but if you want to be taken seriously, here is what you need to do:
1. Talk in full, complete, and grammar filled sentences. This is not the WoW forums, it is a professional game design website.
2. Create a full fledged document. Showing what everything will be like, it NEEDS to be descriptive, and may take a few dozen hours to create. If it is less then 10 pages (computer font), it needs work. Say what platform it will be for too.
3. Buy an engine. It doesn't even have to be Torque! Infact, it may just be GameMaker (you will need the license from Torque to sell it though.) Just make sure that it can do the stuff you need it. Like a 2d engine vs. a 3d engine. And one that can port over to your platform you want (TGB can port to iPhone, TGE can port to iPhone, GameMaker CAN'T port to iPhone, etc.)
4. Create a prototype. You can't just ask someone to make a game for you. YOU need to make the game. It does not have to have good graphics, and small effects are worth nothing at this point. Just focus on creating a fun game.
5. NOW it is time to be taken serious by the game design community. Post a blog, maybe even a thread. Toss out the prototype, a few of your scripts, and ask for some help with the art and smaller detailed effects.
1. Should be easy, it takes a little getting use to, but it should get people much more serious about your game.
2. I see you already have the document, so you may want to add more detail to it, and stuff like that.
3. I suggest you start out with TGB. It is very simple and easy to use.
4. Here is where you will need to do some work. It will be most likely the longest and hardest step, but if you want to be serious... Do it, otherwise you will not get the game you wanted.
5. This could take a long time too, but it should be easy considering that you just need to get an artist or 2 and maybe if your skilled enough, you could go straight to publishing!
Let me tell you what everyone will tell you.
Ideas are WORTHLESS!!! Anyone with a simple mind can come up with a game idea. It just takes strong mind to actually make and publish that game. Turn your idea into reality, then it is worth something.
