I am interested to know how many artist work on what platform and use what tools on each platform. I am working on a modelling to for Windows (atleast until .NET works on other platforms).

I'd also be interested in knowing why you prefer the tools you use over others.

Mike,

I am not sure if you are asking what art tools I prefer or what programming tools I prefer. So I will answer both questions. I use Maya 4.5 for Windows, Photoshop 7, Promotion, and a suite of tools that I have developed. I develop for the Game Boy Advance, with C++ using Visual Studio.NET Pro. I also develop graphics tools using Visual Studio.NET, Managed DirectX 9 using C# as a prefered language, but using managed C++, when push comes to shove. I prefer .NET to other environments because of the amount of support it offers. I hope I have answered your questions.
