Hi,

I'm new here, just like to know if how i could publish my game to web?
Is that already built-in 1.8.1?

Thanks,

Odie

There is no web publishing built into 1.8.1. You can add it via a resource, but the resource's code needs to be polished up before it should be used for anything other than a prototype.

Other than that you can publish your game via Instant Action, license the Instant Action tech, or wait for the coming T3D update and pony up a big chunk of cash for it.

There was an option I forgot about, and that's the OSAKit.

@Scott - AVG detects one of their samples is infected with a trojan. I'd steer clear.

Heed Jaimi's warning for it is true, the OSAKit download is most definitely compromised, or at the very least one of their samples is. Unfortunately for me I left the office for quite a bit of travel after posting in this thread and didn't see Jaimi's post.

What's more, the AV software we have in the office didn't detect it, but AVG sure as hell did. I've spent the last two days fighting a losing battle with a nasty Win32/Cryptor virus that it would seem this trojan downloaded after I finally returned. I've tapped out of the fight and have left the PC in the hands of IT to reformat. Luckily all my important files were unharmed.
