Where to find a game designer ?

Hello everyone. We are a company in the UAE wishing to diversify into the gaming industry. We would like to start off with a game designer, someone who can help us with the Game Design Document. After accomplishing this task we will move onto hiring a line producer.
If anyone could help us or point us in the right direction you're help is greatly appreciated.
Best.

Many people in this community do not realize that "Game Designer" does not mean a kid with a bunch of game ideas. Make sure you ask for credentials before following the advice of an inexperienced person claiming to be a game designer.
I've been burned several times by people claiming to be a great game designer, only to find out a couple of months into the project that they have absolutely no clue what they're talking about.
My suggestion - use someone who has at least two or three published games and/or a relevant education.
Good luck.

I have experience with design and gameplay implementation with Torque engines, specifically with MMO features and advanced NPC interaction, though other genres are not any more or less difficult. You can find blogs relating to development in my profile, as well as information on my current project here.
