So you think you're a flight ace?
Well let's see how far you can take a paper airplane with the Paper Plane Flight Simulator

From what I can tell this simulator is wrong. Whenever I make a paper airplane and through it in the house it goes very far and the same goes for throughing it outside. But if I were to do the same in that simulator it crashs stright down. So WTF?

Guess I'm just going to have to spend another half-hour repeating my experiments :)

I found a bug :/ When the game resets when you try again, even though the speed dial is set to 100, it's actually been reset to its default of (I think) 40. The moral: don't trust the dial, look at the number on the bottom. Guess I'm just going to have to spend another half-hour repeating my experiments :)

You are inhuman! The rules say that you arn't allowed to use real rockets on your paper-plane!

Oops, didn't read the rules.... but if you look closely you will notice that you can modify the angle while the plane is flying ;)

The problem is with timing. The thing is, right when it starts to tip downwards, if you keep correcting the nose you can make it backflip VERYVERYVERY fast, this gains you mad altitude. If you let it go, it will backflip by itself, downwards -- the question is, at what angle will it come out of the spins and nosedive? The majority of the dives ended up in negative territory. But the one that didn't was a big one.
This was fun like the spear throwing was fun. :D Really good stuff.

That's a small part of why I like Tribes 1 -- the whole mode of gameplay is based on an unintended feature. :)

Oh, p.s. -- I am good at finding bugs. Everyone in the world should have me on their beta testing team. I get the most joy out of exploiting bugs or 'unintended features', or working around level design (like in Marble Blast; I don't have the high scores any more but I found like 90% of the original shortcuts within my first 2 days). That's a small part of why I like Tribes 1 -- the whole mode of gameplay is based on an unintended feature. :)
