Hi all
I have been dabbling in game programming for about 4 years, but I can never get anything substantial done, I fear I am developing a mental block with regards to math and other difficulties ??
Does anybody experience the same ? Should I continue coding ??
I bought the SDK today, I love the dedmos etc.. but I still feel so overwhelmed, ,is game programming etc an acquired skill ???

Keep at it, try small stuff first with the C++ codebase, like adding some of the community ressources, go wild with the scripting : you can do a whole game without touching the codebase.
the keyword being : Keep at it !!! :)
And helping other teams with their projects is also a very good way of learning particulars, as well as being an excellent ground for discussions.
Hope that helps, and welcome to the Wonderful Playground of game making with the Torque engine !!

At the same time, you never forget how to ride a bicycle, do you ? (except in special, particular circumstances, of course)Keep at it, try small stuff first with the C++ codebase, like adding some of the community ressources, go wild with the scripting : you can do a whole game without touching the codebase.
