Strange non-smooth movement.

Hmm.. tried a little experiment..
Make a large flat diff file, pretty big and flat, place a texture on it thats composed of a checkerboard of small squares.
Now place it in a map, and move your player onto it.
Run around in third person, notice that the player doesnt seem to move smoothly? He's actually jerking pretty badly.
Obviously with other reference in view, it doesnt look like it (i.e. when we're on terrain) but when you look at it from almost top down, and run around, its VERY noticale against a regular grid.
I guess thats another thing I'll have to look into :)
