Christmas Break

Hope everyone had a fun Christmas! We are now in that great week between Christmas and New Years where we get to play with all those toys. Of course, 21-6 is back in action as well and will be working to help grow the Orbz community.

First and foremost, our growing community gained some new members over the past few days so look for some new faces in the online world of Orbz :) If you are wanting to play Orbz but don't see anyone online to play with - make sure to drop into the #orbz channel on irc.maxgaming.net. We are using IRC as kind of an outer lobby where players can meet and find some others to play with. Someone from 21-6 is always in there.

Next, a little about some upcoming Orbz related news that we are working on right now. First, we are wrapping up a demo of Orbz that will hopefully attract even more players. As well, we are working hard on a dedicated server option so that we can get Orbz servers hosted on some high performance, high bandwidth servers. Finally, we are workin with David Chait and John Quigley on the Mac and Linux versions of Orbz, repsectively. We will be traveling to San Francisco the week of January 6th to attend MacWorld and show off the Mac version of Orbz in the Arcade Station!

All this should hopefully result in a bigger audience for Orbz and therefore more people to compete against! Keep an eye out for "TomDaMan" who currently holds the #1 Orbz ranking...

See you out there,
The Orbz Team
