I'll look into it.

Most of those checks were generally duplicated from the PC, so it'd have to be a bug where the Mac code isn't setting the non-Closed state properly when the file is opened for writing...

I haven't tried under OSX, but under OS9, I entered the mission, F11 to open the editor, then did a file-save-as, and it worked fine without asserting.

might mean there's just an OSX issue at hand... as usual.

Just tested it under MacOS X 10.2.3, and it saved a mission without any problems :
I loaded Scorched Earth, started the Mission Editor (damn ibook function keys !!! 8p), did a save as immediately without any problems, added some interiors, saved again. No problem, exited to the main menu, reloaded the mission, and wrote this note :)
So, it looks like something that cannot be reproduced everytime, does it ?

Edit : yes, David, that's with Project Builder, I haven't bought CW since 5... Btw, it's the latest PB before the December release (downloading now ;)), with all the minor updates applied.

Did you build under CW8? If you built under PB, then that might be the difference -- though I built under CW8 and it worked... ;) who knows...
