object rotation

I know this is sort of a "n00bish" question but I couldnt find the answer anywhere else. I'm making a bunch of houses and placing them in my game in torque. Of course I would like some of the houses facing one way and others facing another way. But when I import it into the scene and relight the scene the front of the houses always point in the same direction. The only thing I can find that could rotate the object was the "rotation" parameter in the inspector pane for the object. I've tried messing around with that and either when I change one of the values it doesnt do anything or does something that I don't need. I would like to know if there is some sort of button on the .dif model that I could press and rotate with (kinda like the buttons they give you to move it along its x, y, and z axis) or if the only way I could turn it around is by changing the value(s) in the rotation parameter. Thanks. :)
