n00b alert: Linker problems

Hey everybody, Does anyone know if the newest DX SDK is missing the dxerr9.lib file. It doesn't appear to be found even with proper directories set in Visual Studio 2008.
I doubt it makes a difference but I'm using VS2008 pro not express... but that shouldn't change anything

There IS a verified bug in the November-2008 DirectX SDK. It should be resolved in Microsoft's March 2009 SDK. I'm cross-linking the relevant posts for anyone else who reads this.

Kevin, glad to hear you got this fixed! Those of us using express-edition got some trippy-FX but no linking errors. I wonder if you found a new issue. There IS a verified bug in the November-2008 DirectX SDK. It should be resolved in Microsoft's March 2009 SDK. Apparently GG contacted Microsoft over it.
