Hi im looking to buy the TGB but for now to try it out I started the 30 day trial but so far have not found any decent tutorials. I did find this site called www.makingindiegames.com but in the sites first tutorial meant for beginners I got as far as loading the circle sprite after that the aurthor seems to have only thought half the sentences and the wrote the other have because his instructions stops making sence. An example of this is when he has me copy some movement code (that doesnt work) he mentions somthing about how earlyer in the tutorial we changed the circle sprites name to sphere which we didnt.
And all the other tutorials on the site seem to be nothing but copy and pasting large chunks of code into notepade and at least this code works but the aurthor never explains the code.

So to sum up Im looking for some other site that has good tutorials.
Wile reading these forums I have heard of a site called TDN that has tutorials but I cant seem to find it even when I search it could someone plz post a link to it.

On an Off topic subject my trial verson of TGB seems to have a graphics problem were all the visuals are a little high to were the top buttons are covered and to click on anything in the program I have to click below it. For now its nothing more than an inconvenence but it would be nice to have the program work properly espeshaly when I latter buy it. If anyone has any suggestions on that it would also be appreashated.

First off, try updating your video card's drivers. You can also try switching to D3D rather than OpenGL.

Here is information on the current status of TDN.

The question I was asking wasnt that I couldnt get on TDN but what web page it was located on. In short I cant even find it.

My video cards are up to date unless a new update for Nivida came out in the last week cause thats how long Ive had this computer.

also what do you mean D3D?

I'd still recommend checking for drivers. New laptops are only as up-to-date as the OEM release of their support partition.

TDN

Direct3D. You can change the options in your TorqueGameBuilder-1.7.4\tgb\tgb\defaultPrefs.cs configuration file.
