Book: Maximum texture size on a DTS model is 512x512?

On page 232, there is a sentence that says texture map dimensions must be a power of two with a maximum size of 512x512. Am I reading this right, or is this sentence referring to the maximum size of subobject texture maps? 512x512 seems way too small for many assets in a game.

I see that sentence in the book, I can tell you that I have used tetures as large as 4k for a DTS on the xbox - the only problem with that, is that you cannot load the DTS in Showtool pro - so you have to have a lower resolution version for ShowTool.

Thanks, I was kinda worried about that for a minute. Must of been an old limitation.

Sorry, that should have been pulled from the book during editing. This limitation is long since gone. Thank you for pointing this out.
