You can't entirely type use c++. The Torque Game Engine uses TorqueScript so you would have to script using that. If your looking for tutorials on TorqueScript, they are rare to find. In my opinion, you should attempt to create a small project (super small, such as the Getting Started tutorial except add a few of your own widgets). This way, when there is something that must be completed you can either a) look at the starter kits that come with the engine, examine snippets of code, and try to learn something for them, such as on how to use them for your project. Or you can b) ask the forumns.

Or, you can buy the Game Programmer's Guide to Torque. An EXCELLENT book.

What is Torquescript? I purchase the program, I thought you can apply C++ to that.

Torquescript is a easy C-like script, there are docs for that, check out Torque Developer Network tdn.garagegames.com/wiki/TDN_Home
