Model File specs, please

I was wondering if you guys could post the file specs that is used for models with v12. This would be of great help in getting the milkshape guys to create a plugin for milkshape.

Any news on the status of this? My partner is a trueSpace 5.1 user, and I'd love to have either a plugin, or the file spec so I can start writing one for him.

So, any info on this would be appreciated... I'm gonna go start digging through this DTS format right away, but a documented form would be so much nicer (:

I am looking for the specs also. I would like to be able to write a plugin for Blender or an export script in Blender to create the v12 object files. If anyone knows where I can get this information, please let me know. Thanks

Jose Luis Cebrian has an excellent start to the model file specs but it isn't complete yet. He's the guy working on the Milkshape exporter. Hopefully, the docs will be finished soon =)

Thanks Matthew. Also, I was wondering, what are the supported object files v12 can read (only 3dmax files?)

Only .dts (mesh and animations) and .dsq (animations). These are propietary model formats. Currently, there is a full exporter for 3dsmax and a partial (mesh, materials, and collision mesh) for Milkshape.
