Milkshape Questions

Hi guys,
I am just learning to model and I have just finished my first model (WOOT!).
I have had a couple of issues that I am sure that someone knows the answer for.
1) I cannot seem to use a png with alpha layer as a material in milkshape. How do I do this?
2) What determines the rotation of the model in relation to the mountPoint?
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks guys

That clears up number 1 nicely.
For number 2 I will give an example.
I made a sword model but when mounted in game, it points downwards. How can I change the model so it points upwards?

You have 2 possibility :
- The sword orientation is wrong : In that cas, turn it =;-)
- The mountpoint direction is not good : In that case turn it. The best way to know the direction of a mountpoint is to attach another node to it. The first one will point toward the next one.
I'm not sure that it's clear, but I hope you will get it....

OK I understand the point 2 better.You have 2 possibility :

1) Milkshape doesn't support the alpha layer in a PNG file. In fact when you export your model in dts format, only the name of the texture is saved, not it's extension. So just create a .bmp (or .jpg) file, with the same name of your .png file, and assigned it as a material in Milkshape. When you putyour .dts in game, just replace the texture file by the .png one.
I hope it's clear.
2) Sorry but for this one I don't understand exactly what you mean. Try to be more precise.
