Torque clinet runs on Linux!?

I have tried to find an answer to this, and after reading the forums I am still uncertain.
Does the torque clinet run well under linux, if so, why does it not say in the torque->features description?
(We tried to compile the new head under linux and it went perfect, no problems at all. And here I was thinking that it was only the server code that worked.)

The x86UNIX platform layer is functionally complete at this point. Torque on linux runs about as well as windows on the same hardware. Here's an updated feature/requirement list document from the products section:

(I looked at the page yesterday with my professor, and it said the linux client was under development.)

Yes, the page was changed recently as part of the site overhall. The old page did say that the client was in development. But most development on it was completed several months ago.
