Yeah, It really kicks ass. I like the tanks ;)

The only thing I saw wrong was that IE cached
the old Play Games, Make Games, and My Garage buttons so I had to clear cache in order to see the new ones, but everything else loaded and looks great! :)

Looks awesome. I like the deep blue color of the text.

I like the new site design too... I'm getting some small bugs in the play games, make games, my garage buttons up top, but I'm sure that will get fixed before to long... I hope that these changes were made to lay the groundwork for the player site... I'm really looking foreward to the players site :)

I think I will have to rename the menu nav graphics, too many browsers not noticing the change....--Rick

I just tried the site with IE, and I don't like it. It looks like a poor man's PostNuke theme.
And what's with that stupid tank/army graphic at the top? It looks like a 5 year old's website!

The design doesn't work with Mozilla. I have bizarre graphics and lots of white.I just tried the site with IE, and I don't like it. It looks like a poor man's PostNuke theme.

The blue font takes some getting used to, but otherwise I like the new design (including the icon at the top, although I'm not sure what the guy in the lower left is doing :)

I was having problems with the toolbar icons in Konqueror, but once I cleared the cache and completely restarted X they went away. The blue font takes some getting used to, but otherwise I like the new design (including the icon at the top, although I'm not sure what the guy in the lower left is doing :)

I think either an alligator has gotten his leg or he is pissing green urine onto a dead worm. Hmmmm...

Also, this color text on grey is a big no no, did you not study basic colour theory in school? ;)
Aside from that it's nice. But I'd really like to see the reply box just at the bottom of the thread rather than in a new page. I like to re-read the thread while I reply, so I always have to open the reply page up in a new tab and flick back and forth.

I like the menu more, but I'm not a fan of the little tank doodle. It looks....how to put this politely...."out of place".Also, this color text on grey is a big no no, did you not study basic colour theory in school? ;)

I'd like a reply box myself, as when you're on 21.6k you learn to appreciate the little things. I don't mind the little graphic, although it doesn't fit the overall theme very well.

I need to reaffirm that I find the site design very amateurish. There's nothing special about it at all, and it doesn't really portray a professional, quality image to anyone visiting for the first time.
And that army graphic at the top is just dreadful; I'd expect that from a bunch of 10 year olds but not from GG.

It's funny that you change the text colour to blue on the same day that my lecturer (a researcher in GUI) tells me never to use blue as a foreground colour, as the human eye can't focus on the colour blue. I believe him, as I find the blue very hard to read.I need to reaffirm that I find the site design very amateurish. I like the tank graphic. It's a site about making games and making it look like a corporate enterprise software site would be silly.

The site looks pretty good to me. I too am unsure about the blue - especially in the post body, but also in the What's New section.I like the tank graphic. It's a site about making games and making it look like a corporate enterprise software site would be silly.

Actually, the tank graphic is the start of GGTV. It is one frame of a Flash animation that is not animating right now. We intend to put up some specs and show off community flash animations. It will be very cool.Jeff Tunnell

Hey Mike, although I feel you're being kinda harsh, I completely agree with you on the blue text. It's possibly the worse color to use for a foreground color. Not that I loved my HCI class, but we were also taught the same thing.

I really like the "stupid army/tank graphic" at the top!
