Nothing against the new page, but the boards definitely were killed and are now much less usable. Get them back to life please and that better a week ago than tomorrow because iTGB has some serious probs and without the iTorque community, its at best worth a refund request.

Where did the boards as whole go?
This here is a blogging system, not a discussion board.
No quote, no edit, no signature

Thought the real question is:Where did the boards as whole go?

I have it on good authority that the iTorque forums will be back up and running in the not too distant future.
In the meantime, I don't see why you cannot discuss problems with iTGB on this forum, provided you don't post any iTorque specific code.

I definitely wouldn't go as far to say as the lack of a forum deserves a refund. I think you are over dramatising the issue.I have it on good authority that the iTorque forums will be back up and running in the not too distant future.

But actually this page was in development for what, 12 months or alike?
How comes that such elemental problems are missed, especially on something that is that much community dependant and community driven as Torque?
iTorque is all or at least pretty much about code
Pretty hard to talk about it without code.
Wouldn't even be possible to talk about TGB Pro code
both assume that they don't filter the threads by license ownerships directly actually.
But that would actually make it much worse if iTGB owners would be punished for owning all 3 products.

- The callback oniPhoneTouchDown, how can I register it? Do I need to enable it somehow (like for the mouse event, setting the "setUseMouseEvents(true)")?

Well, maybe I'll just post my question here, as the information I'm looking for was in a thread I had marked for later reading. - The callback oniPhoneTouchDown, how can I register it? Do I need to enable it somehow (like for the mouse event, setting the "setUseMouseEvents(true)")?

Without the community I'm completely useless. the forum had some great stuff in it.
Joao, there is actually a very good reason why you can't use the oniPhoneTouchDown command. it's broken. but if the forum was online , you could have gotten Phillip Oshea's code fix and get it to work again.
So again. we need to forum.

Joao, you need to set $pref::iPhone::EnableMultipleTouch to true.

I'm a bit disturbed by the lack of functionality of the new site. It makes me very wary to pull the trigger about purchasing iTGB if all the documentation, blogs, community features are offline until the "not too distant future".

@Wenceslao: Yes, although I've been with iTGB for a while now, without the help of the documentation/forum it's a very hard task to get work done. Of course, thanks to some guys around this forum, it's not impossible :D

That's part of why we wanted to rework the forums and various workflow issues. Even though it's not there yet, we needed to build a new site (there were some very serious hurdles with the old site in updating it any sort of big way). So now we should be able to roll updates to the new site a lot easier. So be sure to post any feedback in the web site feedback forum.
