TX3D Preorder?

by Alexander Tran · in Torque X 3D · 01/13/2009 (8:20 pm) · 5 replies

Do current TX Pro owners have to buy the entire 3D package? or do we get the option to just buy the 3d WYSIWYG editor?

Is there an idea of when they are going to release this for purchase?

Also can someone shed any light on what the heck is happening to the Torque X pro licensees. I know I'm not going to be very happy if I'm getting asked to buy TX2D Pro and TX3D pro when my original Torque X pro license already includes both of those products (whether they have now been seperated or not!)

Normally GG rewards early adopters. In this case the silence from GG is leading me to believe I'm about to get shafted.

I own TX pro as well and I would like a refund if I have to make a separate purchase for TX3D. TX2D alone have very little value to me. Frankly, there hasn't been much updates since TX v1 and it's unfair if they charge us again. And I don't quite understand about the decision spliting into two products. What if I want to mix 2D and 3D? Do I have to do the integration myself? Or TX 3D is superset of TX 2D? I hope this is the case. Thanks.
