Fluid Rendering Problem

This post is mainly directed towards Mel since he designed the Fluid Rendering to start with. By the way I love the way it turns out and looks very realistic after it has been tweaked a bit. My question is this. When standing in the water and the waves start to get around the players head, the water will jump up above the players head. Now I noticed this only while standing still. Have I done something wrong or is this a known problem? It just dosn't have that water fell when it jumps up like that and submerges the player.

Ahhhhh ok so this is a known problem with the engine. I was thinking about why exactly is it doing this. It seems like when the water reaches the players eye sight, it shifts. Now this could be caused by a few problems. I have not looked at the code for the water in a while but I have a few ideas that I think may fix it. I will try later tonight when I get home and keep you posted. Im almost positive I know what it is but I dont wanna sound dumb and say so i'll just try first. :)
