To All Utah Area Indies,

Okay, its time once again to announce another Utah Indie Games Night. It will be held on Thursday January 29th at 7pm at ITT-Tech in Murray. Yes after a bit of a hiatus, we are holding this at ITT-Tech again. We will mostly likely be alternating locations between ITT-Tech and Ninjabee going forward.

The format will be like last time, an informal get together to chat, eat, talk about the industry, see what others are doing, show off your current project and get feedback, etc. Email me if you need to get directions to get there.

If you have a demo to show or other presentation please let me know before hand, so we can plan on it better. We'll start out with a formal presentation (or two), and then we'll be doing the rest in smaller groups (sort of "expo style"), as in the past. Also, if you have any other questions, suggestions, announcements, or something you think that would benefit the group, please let me know. This should be an enjoyable and worth while night for everyone. I hope to see everyone there!

My apologies for not posting this report out sooner. We had great great time last Thursday night. I believe we set a new attendance record this time around (somewhere around 40-50 people or so). It was a little hard to gauge as there were other students coming in an out. Like last time, we started off with a more formal presentation by Josh Jones on "Motivating Crunch: A Mini Monthly Postmortem". Then we did our usual "expo style" presentations for the rest of the evening.

Here are two more detailed write ups about the event

Also Jay's been having some internet connection problems, so look for a writeup from him on his blog at www.rampantgames.com/blog/

Our next Indie Night will be in April at Ninjabee (more details will come later). Hope to see you all then!
