3DS Max problem..

Hey all, I just got 3DS max trial and I click it to open it and this error comes up.

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000096). Click on OK to terminate the application.


Anyone know why this is like that?

@Houssen - This could be the result of many different things, so a bit of information is in order. First, what are your system specs (Most importantly: Operating System, Video Adapter, RAM). Also, when was the last time you updated you video card drivers? Usually, this error means that it's a driver or running application (background or service) causing the problem. Make sure that you close any applications that you do not need.

I am running windows XP, I don't know why it is doing this I used to be able to run 3DS Max9 perfectly but this version (2009) is different and doesn't work my ram is 1.5 gig or something. I did all the things you said and none worked also how do I update my video card drivers?

Edit: Just update my driver and still did came up with the same error.
