Yo, great work with the export. I haven't used it yet, but i'm a gonna. I couldn't get the blender 2.48a to work with the Torque DTS export or the quick export. I did hack as much as possible, stayed up a long night and came up with a solution: Get Blenders previous release( i used the 2.46, for windows) then download the latest version for the torque exporter from their project directories in the blender site or find the link somewhere in these particular forums ( DTS Exporter: Blender) and follow some simple instructions. ... Oh the instructions are also somewhere in the forums. i don't really remember the link or the address, but if you are serious about it it won't be hard to find. For those that are wondering about the stage of my own projex, well... I am studing the Guide to programming' from Mr. Murina, I am new to development. And neither do i have any particular motion, yet. Still, i hope the good luck doesn't run out. I to am in a limited budget.

I read somewhere in these forums that to export textures, they need to be in the even number area like: 1358 x 1374 (got it ?) also if u do export an object and its on double sided poly render - that option will take up some of the features that the export will need to function properly, so i suggest u turn it off lest that bug has been amped to a higher digit or it been modified. other than that good luck dude.

@Ubaldo - They can't be just any even numbers, they have to be powers of two. 256, 512, 1024, etc.

@Ian - Textures aren't exported as part of the .dts, so you need to copy the image file along with the shape.@Ubaldo - They can't be just any even numbers, they have to be powers of two. 256, 512, 1024, etc.

Yeah I figured out that they have to be to the power of 2, which was my issue why they were not displaying in ShowTool, but also it seems that now that they do show, even though in Blender I have only textured one face, in ShowTool it wraps the texture so the entire object has it on all faces, which is of course not what I want heh.

Here are some links for you-
First and e-book on Blender, very useful: http://en.wikibooks.org/wiki/Blender_3D:_Noob_to_Pro
Second some tutorials on exporting: http://www.users.on.net/~symes/gamedev/videotuts/videotuts.html
The first mirrior links appear to be down, just use the second. These were the most helpful for me as they showed how to get the DTS working.
If you have more issues let me know, and post the problems specifics. :)
Cheers!
