Free Music (From a Collapsed Project)

A recent project of mine collapsed, and I'd like to pass on the music I'd composed for it to anyone who may be able to use it. Maybe my loss can be your gain.

Here's a montage of the themes, from heroic to ambient and back again:

That's a four-minute suite summarizing about 18 minutes of musical themes and cues written for the now dead project, excluding some solo parts. For free, I'd pass along an archive of the ogg files which you can loop and rearrange to your heart's content, under a license to use them in perpetuity in any form for one title. I thought I might use some of the music as a demo, but honestly I'd rather some of these sections find their way into a game. If they don't work for you as-is, I'm also willing to do some customization of the themes and motifs for (obviously) far less than my usual per-finished-minute price for original music.

If interested, shoot me mail: psneville [at] tonic9.com

And of course, I'm also available for new work, either on a work-for-hire basis in which you own all the music produced or on a licensed basis, in which I write music and license it to you for the title but I may rearrange that music for other purposes (big difference in fee between those two options).

Finally, I occasionally do orchestration and conducting work for other composers who need to translate their virtual stuff into something that can be played live, and I can add solo performers, including vocalists and choirs, to your otherwise sampled parts. I'm collaborative, not competitive, and enjoy working with other composers in this way.

Cheers mates,
Sean

That sounds more than interesting! Very Zimmer'ish. I like it!

Thanks guys - the client had requested a Zimmery sound, so I appreciate the comparison.

These freebies have been snatched up, but if I find myself with another orphaned archive of ogg files I'll post them here first.

    Cheers,
    Sean
