What is the current method to export a PNG with alpha channel?
It's been a year+ since I had to create one so I literally forgot the fix.

Like making all channels visible before export, or locking transparent pixels ???

I have SuperPNG already but I must be missing something as I keep saving files out with alpha channels and they are not there when I re open them. Are there any more steps?Like making all channels visible before export, or locking transparent pixels ???

Are you opening them in TGE, or in another application? Some apps may not show that channel. On another note, if you have Paint Shop Pro available to you, I use version 7 (pretty old), and it works just fine. It's not Photoshop, granted, but it works :)

I removed the standard png filter and put superPNG in its place in the same folder, incase it matters.

You need to find an older version of SuperPNG. The explanation and download can be found here: tdn.garagegames.com/wiki/Editing_Beginner/Tools/SuperPNG

You can export with Photoshop without SuperPng. Delete your "background layer". Then choose "Save for Web and Devices", and select format PNG-24.
