Volunteers Needed!! Work together for the greatest cause that you can ever work for...to bring people to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ! to share the good news about what Jesus Christ has done for them!

DigiChristWorks Game Studio is looking for people with all different skills and gifts to work on an rpg series that will lift up the name of Jesus and draw all men to know the one who loves us and is alive and comes to give us eternal Life and eternal purpose". You will be working with the game director/CEO of a multi-facet company that is working on game development, digital animation and digital evangelizing to reach everyone with the Good News of God. Our heart is that everyone comes to know the Good things God has in store for all of us by reaching people through digital media. If you have no interest in joining this team, please do not reply with harsh words of contention, just move along. This company under the leading of the Holy Spirit will expand rapidly because our vision goes just beyond making games to make games but the purpose is that everyone is drawn closer to Jesus Christ and his Love!! The CEO has a vision straight from the Lord and you have a chance to be a part of something big. The qualifications are 1)An open and humble heart, willing to be under authority to allow God to use you in a great way under the direction of the CEO 2)We are not looking for religious people, argumentative people, and people of contention, but someone that recognizes that this something from God ( this is not a thread to post your feelings about religion, it is an invitation, and NOT A FORCE, but something great 3) a faithful and loyal heart that will be willing to go to the end with the project and allow God to reward them in a great way (people of faith) ..... It is more than just getting together to make games but your life will be transformed and marked by the Power of God and you will experience Jesus like never before!!!

No offense to anyone, but you don't seem to know what you want.

You'd need more of an idea than just spreading the message of christ - he's not going to program the game for you. You seem to have posted the exact same details on every forum - OGRE, Irrlicht, RPG Maker... Do you even know what technology you're going to use?

I'd get that sorted out first if I were you

No offense but CEO and Volunteer used in the same paragraph sounds terribly wrong.

Now, I happen to share the same religion as you, Dcworks, but there are several things you have said in this post (some I have quoted above) which makes the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Not due to religion being invoked- if someone feels motivated to make a game that is religiously oriented, that's fine with me. This has to do with language that sounds like it's manipulating peoples' sense of religion in order to get something out of them for free. That might not actually be the case, and because of this, I'm not going to point a finger and say that that is what is happening here, but I will say that if you do not want people to get that vibe from your posting, then you may want to reconsider how you're coming across.

Remember that indies get involved in a lot of projects that fail, and talking about needing volunteers to work for a company at a time when a lot of people are losing jobs, and then appealing to one's sense of religion as a reason to do that just isn't a way to attract people. And even beyond the employment issue is that of the fact that there are no substantial details of what type of game is being worked on, whether it is 2d/3d, what kinds of positions you are looking for, and most importantly: What you bring to the table- besides being a CEO. If you expect to lead, then you must show ability, not just motivation. Hope that helps.

Dcworks, I will be a little critical against you, but hopefully you realise it is for your own good.

First of all, don't just post and then never write again in that post, answer questions instead.
In your last post here I was trying to help you with asking questions I thought was really necessary to answer, and just to be sure you wouldn't miss it, i sended that I had posted on this forum, to your email, but you never answered, instead you create a new thread, where you doesn't answer anyone eader.
I guess you are expecting every on to feel in the spirit that this is what they should do, and that is why you never are answering, but even if they would feel it in the spirit, you are giving them a hard time not to arguing against what they feel, so I think you should re-think and start answer some questions.

here is some questions I have:
1. What is your plan if you have been making money from it, will you for example be splitting the income with the co-workers

2. How complete of an idea do you have, for example do you have it as a document, or just some in your head?

3. How many possitions is already filled?

4.What is your age, and what is your experience from being CEO?

5. What are your experiences from game development?

6. What exactly is the game about?
