Torque limitations

i was just wondering about the torque engine before i commit my project to it.
1. how man polys can be displayed on screen at once?
2. the ground textures i have seen for mostly all torque games look very washey. can the textures be of higher quality and have bump to make it really nice.
3. what kind of skeletal system does it use? ik/fk smooth or rigid binding?
4. also the skyboxes i have seen also look blurry, can this be also of higher quality or is it a set number of pixels per inch?
5. how many textures can be on each charcter?
6. does the models have to be a single mesh or sectioned like quake 3?
7. if i decide to publish through garage games, i just have to pay the 100 dollar liscence or the 10,000? how about if i self publish through my own site can i also just pay the 100?
thank you everyone. fo info on the game i want to bring to the torque and garage games community please visit: www.parasyticmoon.com
thank you

2) You have the source code, you could add bumpmapping. Others have.
3) Torque doesn't do any dynamic IK in the engine. That doesn't mean you can't use IK in your modeller, though.
4) See 2.
5) See 1.
6) Either.
7) Check the license. You need to pay the $10,000 if your game is a hit, basically.
