Constructor Issues.

1. When brushes overlap eachother in constructor it looks fine, but when I export to the engine, the exact crack where they overlap I can see through to the outside, it looks aweful, How can I avoid this, its difficult getting all of the brushes to line up exactly on the same axis.

2. Where can I find lighting tutorials for constructor, I am having a few issues with lights, I can get them to light up in the engine when placed in constructor, but lights that are suppose to flicker won't flicker in the engine, how can I get more information on torque lighting through constructor?

3. Question that follows along with question 1, brushes that overlap or lay next to eachother is there a way I can get those objects to attach to eachother from within constructor, or is there a tool that I am overlooking that possibly lines the vertices up to the closes vertice of the partnering brush?

1 & 3: If you have grid snap turned on and aline all of your vertexes on the snaps, you should see this problem go away. I Haven't used constructor in quite a while, but last time I checked I didn't see a "weld" feature that would be really nice to attach vertexs.

2: I can't answer as I've only used standard lights with various color variations and amplitudes.

1 & 3. Do not overlap brushes; it is pretty much a design no-no. That is unless they are portal brushes. Otherwise, do not overlap them. If you do so, it might break up your geometry even more when compiling the dif. There is not a function for welding verts, either, as Brian noted.

2. The animated lights are not working in the last couple of patches for Constructor. I'm not exactly sure when they stopped working. You should be able to export with the legacy DIF option to get them working, though, I believe. It has been a while. I'll have to look into that again.
