K I threw together A few quick models today check some shots of them out at torquetutorials.110mb.com/index.php?p=1_5_Models I dont know It doesnt seem very Sci Fi but I need some feedback Maybe something that would make it more sci Fi. I'm going to get some Halo Screen shots to see if I can get something there. But yea also any sugestions on how to make it look better more detail and stuff are greatly appreciated. I'll continue on building Sci Fi related models I will also try to make some Castle ones to. If someone wants a specific building made just let me know I'd love to help out. If you have a picture of something youd like made post the picture and I'll give it a shot.

Edward thanks alot for your feedback Yes I know I lack something everytime I finish a building or something I stand back and look at it and say somethings missing I just dont know what. So I greatly appreciate your comments. I will keep practicing and maybe slowly I'll get better. Also could you take a look at this building and give me a couple hints and whats wrong with it and stuff ty.torquetutorials.110mb.com/web_images/scifi-castle2_1.jpg

If you look on the top where there is that space, putting a walkway on that would be a logical use of space and give it more love for the entrance into it. But your getting there. There are alot of ways to do buildings. There isnt any "correct way". But usually following a theme and creating a set of buildings along that theme, a modular setup. Like create a tower, a wall structure, a corner structure, a castle, a living quarters(house/hut/barracks) Thats a good general way to create a group of objects and make sure you dont miss them. also i see there is one area that you need to work on textures. Constructor has a small choice i know, but go to some free texture sites online and grab some nice metal textures. or what ever your material is made out of. another good place to look is in the torque SDK, use those too :). Practice makes perfect.

These should give you some links to some creative ideas that will give you a nice foundation for buildings and ultimatly practicly examples of fortications and buildings that can be used in games.
Heres some of mine, also with Constructor.
and here is a movie with some of my first Constructor Scifi DIFs, yes i strangly made spacecraft as my first buildings, and they work nicely.
