Mac Ide

I love Torsion.
But I love OS X.
I've stayed with Windows for years just because of Torsion alone.
Mac users,
Is there an IDE that's nearly as handy? The torque plugin for XCode doesn't work with Leopord. There's a plugin for JEdit, but JEdit doesn't organize projects well.
Eclipse is ok as it has a plugin, but I can't get things like block comments to work.
Mind you, I'm only talking about Torquescript, not C++. Is there anything I'm missing here?

I am not a Mac developer... and the experience i've had so far makes me glad of that fact. Its hard to get anything productive done on a Mac after deveoping in Windows for over 15 years.
Combine that with the limited amout of time i have to work on it and its been very challenging to make progress.
I've not given up... but i wanted to make it clear what the hold ups are.

The only reason we have not finished Torsion for the Mac is lack of expertiese and time.I am not a Mac developer... and the experience i've had so far makes me glad of that fact. Its hard to get anything productive done on a Mac after deveoping in Windows for over 15 years.

I understand. Writing software for 5% of the market is not often worth the investment. My surprise is not aimed at you guys at Sickhead as before Torison came out, all we had was Tribal IDE. I imagined the community has a clearer idea of a good editor for Mac. Maybe there really are few users.

Well i think there is a bigger market than 5% for Torsion on Mac... i know we're loosing out by not having it. Its just been difficult getting there.

I'm surprised I'm the only one who cares about this. Every year about 2/5's of our students show up with Mac laptops eager to learn game development only to find that it's awkward compared to Windows (Torsion). Assuming Textmate is the solution, it shouldn't have taken me so much research to find it. I think business will be better for you guys if Mac people feel included.
