You will work or we will fire you.
If you have no talent we will fire you.
We wont pay you.
We expect you will be able to Program, model and script,
If you cant do it we expect you to learn it.
If you dont learn it we will also fire you.
Our company is a joy to work with.
If you dont enjoy working here then we will fire you.
The rewards for working at our company is you get to hear our programmers crying non stop in vent at all hours of the day over crap they dont understand.
Luckily we offer full ownership in the final game in direct proportion to your contribution.

The game is a realistic 3D Baseball game powered by Torque 1.52. The game is client, server, master server powered by MMOKit.
The players have a chat room to organize games and can play everything from 3 on 3 to 9 on 9 baseball games online. Its a real 3d baseball game with players that can level up and expand their skills.
Statistics will be recorded on the master server and players have persistent skills they can allocate as they level up. The games webpage will display player statistics.
The art is not cartoony at all and goes for a realistic look.
I am developing the game alone at the moment.
I wasnt kidding about game ownership being allocated in equal amounts to people that contribute.
I have a long term vision to aim at instant action dot com or at least adding some browser based capability to the game being able to connect to normal clients. I love the idea of people being able to try the game from a browser quickly and get the client later if they get into it.
Current status stadium in game, models and animation complete at least in 3dsmax and partially exported for use. Character servers are up. I think by January a milestone should be reached where we have the basics in game (player animation and stadium) and we can start focusing on baseball game logic.

Since it sounds like you have already been making some of the models, maybe you can put up some screenshots on them?

I am an artist, and would like to contribute. let me know. Maybe if we get enough people, we can claim open source rules the planet, and we will take anyone on.
....
great thread, though, and i am serious.

@Everyone - Yeah, original post is not the most...attractive...job offer ever, so a little ribbing was expected. However, the concept is amazing. I've already stated in two previous posts that I really like this guy's ideas. When compared to other MMO concepts, this is one I could get behind since it can stay within a low scope.@Awesome Coder!!! - Lolz?!?! (cringe and shudder)

The point of the post was that humor is important while also asking for help. Non of it actually reflects anything true about the game.
Michael, yes the fact the scope is limited is a major plus.
I am planning on posting some screen shots of the artwork in this thread soon.

Thanks guys for the encouragement. The point of the post was that humor is important while also asking for help. Non of it actually reflects anything true about the game.
