Hi i dunno if this is the right place but im looking for a sdk that supports 8-directional palette system. Hopefully you will understand what i mean . If anyone knows where i can find one or can link me to one then i would appreciate it. im not entirely sure on what the specific name for this time of game is so i had to sort of give it a easy self-explanatry name :P
Games like www.joymax.com/darkeden use the sort of system im looking for, should help you understand better !

If you are an experienced developer, you could apply camera and movement modifications to TGEA to achieve a similar effect. However, the difference in complexity between the 2 engines is drastic. With TGEA, you will most definitely need a solid C++ base to modify it to look and feel like your example game.

If you were browsing Torque Tech, I'm thinking you would want to try using Torque Game Builder + Adventure Kit (maybe even Platformer Kit).If you are an experienced developer, you could apply camera and movement modifications to TGEA to achieve a similar effect.
