Game engine demo multiplayer?

I want to play the Orc/racing game demo with an online friend but the MASTER SERVER yields nothing. Now can this work?

Are you checking the host box at the bottom and the other wanting to play with you clicking the join button?

The GG master server is up and running.

The racing demo is single player only btw.
