Any Planning Software?

I'm just curious if there might be any kind of planning software out there that will let me map out zones, describe them, what can be found there etc.

Anyone hear of such a thing?

Haven't heard of a program that does that but it would be of little use for me, I prefer good old pencil and paper :)
