All objects disappeared from library?

Well this has been a mixed weekend lol.

All of a sudden for no reason I can think of, all my objects (sprites, particle effects etc) have disappeared from my project.

All the files are still there, if I add some to the library again they appear where they should in the scene, however almost randomly if I reload the project, some or all will disappear again..?

Anyone any ideas?

Sorted it, must have been a dodgy datablocks file, copied one from a backup and they've all appeared again :)

Some don't seem to have paced themselves in the scene but re-adding them seems to do the trick.

Ok then, this is starting to drain a bit..

I managed to add a few images to the scene before it started acting up again :( Now if I add an image to the scene I just get the object outline/bounding box, if I zoom in really far the image appears??

Ive tried running the game and the problem images do not appear..

My experience of iTGB on the mac so far havest exactly been great! I didnt have a single problem with TGB in Windows.

Do you use many images / massive sized? perhaps your graphic chip (if you are on a mac mini or macbook) just runs out of VRAM.

If you design for iPhone, your images should be as small as possible, you only have 24MB for textures AND the program data etc

Interesting point, I do use a mac mini, ive resized my images to pretty low res's but its worth looking into..

I know there was once a thread on that on the regular TGB. but can not remember the exact cause of it back then. I guess you would find it in the bug board. think it was 1.5.x

I might have to try and find that then.

I was almost hoping it was the vram (good excuse to buy a better mac lol) but it doesnt seem to be, if I go to my intro scene and add far more images than normal it doesnt cause any problems, if I open any of my other levels and do the same thing they disappear almost straight away :S

So ive saved a copy of my intro scene and so far so good, looks like im going to have to recreate my levels using that.

Its not exactly motivating though, im not convinced that it wont happen again further down the line.

Maybe ill have more luck with my next project if I start from scratch using iTGB.

@Daryll
The problem exists on regular TGB. I've experienced it while I was prototyping. It happened to me on two occasions, the first one was when I used many layers, and the second one was when I used a single strip of image, divided into CELLs as backgrounds on different layers. Some of them appear only as outlines, but when you run it, it's perfectly fine. If this bug is in the regular TGB I can see it appear on iTGB also. Oh yeah I'm using one of those "better" Macs :)
