Vista - Cursor Position Off

I have just purchased a new Vista computer. I installed TGB and it runs fine but the cursor position is off. The cursor appears to be about a centimeter below the point that is actually getting clicked on when you press the left mouse button.
Since my computer is brand new I am assuming I have all the latest drivers. Do you have any suggestions for me as to how I might fix this?
My computer is:
Dell XPS 730
Vista Premium
Intel Core 2 Quad CPU 2.83GHz
2301 MB Ram
Dual Ati Radeon HD 3870

BTW: Updating to the latest drivers from ATI did not fix the problem.

I am running Windows 7 with areo disabled using the latest drivers for ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3670 and am experiencing the same problem. Are there any other proposed fixes and if not what are the odds of the dev team actually addressing this? :-D

I hate to revive an old thread but this is the only relevant one I could find and rather than split the information out over a few threads I wanted to keep it in one place.I am running Windows 7 with areo disabled using the latest drivers for ATI Mobility Radeon HD 3670 and am experiencing the same problem. Try switching to openGL rendering.

Agreed. To explain what I did so that other users in the future have a way of fixing this. I re-downloaded my latest drivers from ATI. Then I re-installed directX. For whatever the reason that then enabled me to go to view - > preferences and select openGL rendering. Once I did that everything worked just fine.
