Question about TGEA license

by Hwoarang Li · in Torque Game Engine · 10/01/2008 (3:18 am) · 4 replies

As i know when a TGE user upgrade to TGEA they can get TGE and TGEA source and Showtools pro
in that case why not put download link to TGEA user who buy TGEA directly, at least the Showtools pro link (I know it is not support Shader but it still a good tools to check our model and animations before we load it into TGEA )
as we paid the same money

The main reason is that if it is added to the TGEA in a bundle, people will expect it to have preview capabilities for shaders, etc. It is a very handy tool, but revisioning it into TGEA would take a lot of work. One of the benefits of buying the upgrade from TGE 1.4 to TGE 1.5.2 was a STP license as well.

You should be good to go without refunding/repurchasing.
