TrueSpace 7.6

I was wondering if anyone is using trueSpace 7.6. I see it is now free and was hoping to hear your opinions on the app in general as well as its support for DTS shapes for TGE and TGEA. Thanks in advance for your thoughts.

Here is a link to a two part blog post someone wrote about truespace and it seemed pretty accurate in my opinion. For free, you can't complain too much other that you could end up wasting a lot of time with it and in the end be nowhere. In my opinion if you are willing to invest the time to learn a new package and can fork out the $99, Houdini is the way to go. It has the most full featured exporter of any package.

Thanks for the response, Don. I read through the blogs - good info. I guess I will stay with Blender in the short term - it seems trueSpace doesn't make the export any easier and doesn't export the new features in its new mode to a .dts which I was hoping.

Houdini does sound nice. Maybe I'll sneak a few dollars out of my next pay check and take it for a test run.
