Hacking game story line

Ive been working on this game by myself now for quite a few months ,atm called "Hack3r"
(its a Hacking simulation game) the GUI and functionality of the game are almost complete.
But im stumped for a story line. Heres a little about the game.
HACK3R is a single player "hollywood style" hacking simulation game.
The player takes on the roll of a hacker.
The game is set in the an imaginary world similar to our own today where huge corporations
control everything. The fact is , everything is tagged , catalogued and cross-indext . The internet knows all , and few escape its reach. With the right search programs, you can find out just about anything about anyone, hackers however are ghosts in the information machine, faceless individuals who have the skills corporations need.
They are vital because they are deniable assets: invisible and untraceable. They dont exist as far as society is concerned, so they can do the corporations dirty work. In short the corporations let them exist because they find them useful.
After all there is no profit in wiping out a useful asset.
Heres what i have got for a story so far
it revolves around the corporations gaining their Diplomatic immunity and the fall of 1 of the AAA corporations and the rise of 3 new
AAA corporations and their joining into the Corporate Court
News headlines start with the joining of a new member of the Corporate court
Diplomatic immunity
the Corporate Court invites the world governments to a Gathering and bring forth a Universal stardard for deciding exactly what it means and who gets it. Called the Recognition Accords (RA). All of the countries that signed on had to adjust their laws to comply with the standards (which is every country) Initially 2 countries do not sign the accord US and Russia(?) they are both pressured into signing it in a short time the court decides which companies get the Diplomatic immunity and expected that every country that signed the accord extend the privilege to that corp. when japan tries to reject the Chinese company the govt gets "pressured" into accepting them by the Corporate court
through out the story the player attacks resulting in it reaching the point that the corporation begins to fall apart . The other corporations begin a feeding frenzy snatching up parts of it as their stock plummets it looses so much that 2 smaller companies are now large enough to join the corporate court ..
the leader of leaves their corporation and becomes a board member of their biggest rival
then a few months later the rival company begins to make massive technological breakthroughs internally begins to fight inhouse increasing its instability
Meanwhile the corporate court is crushing the smaller corporations which are picking up the pieces of the
as they do not want another upstart joining their exclusive club
formally accuses of industrial espionage. The former leader of leaves < company rival> and sells his stock.
Meanwhile another boardmember forms < new company> and begins discreetly buying up parts of ( He knew that the rival factions were trying to force him out so he was geting rady to jump ship) He offers the former leader of a job
then 2 corporate court representatives are killed in separeate incidents .one being from
the is accepted into the corporate court. But now is too weak and
is Officially dessolved. takes a large part . and gobble up what remains of the company.
in desparation the merges with saving them from total collapse and giving rise to the new corporation.
the repercussion of the above events are felt world wide with governments collapsing and wars breaking out globally

I like the idea of a hacker game without a per-cooked storyline, and rather have a algorithm for generating jobs, factions, plot, etc on the fly for each game.

---- What about 'not' having a strict story line in a sense, but set up the game where the player feels like they are the hacker themselves? I remembered playing DOT.hack// on the Playstation2 (en.wikipedia.org/wiki/.hack_Infection) and really liked the fact that they have a mock desktop complete with an "e-mail" box, fake websites to go to, and then an icon to start the game itself. It was quite a cool illusion, and I feel you can do something similar for your game, just an idea.
---- Or... You (the player) starts off being just a regular honest citizen in this imaginary world. You are oppressed by a very mean boss doing data entry and information processing in a well-known corporation. You notice a minor glitch in the computer system. You've heard rumors of 'hackers' but where most people believe it's just a myth and repudiate the glitch as being just a bug, you don't. Out of curiosity, you start searching on your own. You're tagged by the system.
The company wants to get rid of you for knowing too much along with 'that hacker' that didn't do a clean job (allowing you to become curious). You were able to escape along with that hacker. You saved his/her life
After you're both safe, the hacker teaches you a few tricks and gives you a few hacking codes. You both part ways. The first thing you did with your new learn skill was hacking your bosses identity and replacing it with your own taking all his savings in the process.
You now have no identity and have no other way in surviving this world but to become a 'hacker'.
P.S. If this is an imaginary world, will there still be countries like China, Russia, etc?

Oh, ... and your mean boss who now has your identity ends up being killed making the corporation believe that you are no longer a threat,...
