About Text and strings to display..

I'm currently using a demo of the Torque Game Builder.
I'm getting some of the basics down.
And I have finished the basic Fish demo tutorial
and also the Space Shooter demo tutorial.
What I like and want to know is this:
to simply display text and strings on the screen.
actually on top of my cloud background(layer is 30).
And also change the color of the text, the font size
and even clear and erase the text. Even move and scroll my text too.
I have browsed, read up, and check out for many hours and even days
for a solution or answer. One good thing though I have learned and read up on a lot of other interesting things and information.
Unfortunately, I do not have an answer or solution to code script of displaying some text on the screen...on top of my cloud in the level.
